Details of the Day:

The popular fun and funky wool show returns for a seventh year. Enjoy a luxurious and inspirational day out, with luscious hand dyed yarns, beautiful handmade wool and felt items, unique knit and crochet kits, a wide selection of accessories from buttons to crochet hooks for sale, craft demonstrations plus crochet, knitting, weaving, needle-felting and drop spindle workshops. The Waltham Abbey Woolly competition – jumper/sweater or cardigan (no pre-registration required) judged by our VIP guest designer at 12.30pm on the day. Accessible venue with free parking for wool show visitors and free skein winding service.

Ticket Information:

Advance tickets are available to purchase on-line via the Waltham Abbey Wool Show website at the reduced entry cost of £4.50, although tickets will be available to purchase on the day too at £5.00 cash each. Entry tickets are also available to purchase in advance from Waltham Abbey Tourist Information Centre on Highbridge Street.

Road Directions

The Marriott Hotel Waltham Abbey is next to junction 26 on the M25. Upon leaving the motorway in a clockwise direction, take the second exit at the roundabout at the end of the sliproad. Leaving in an anti-clockwise direction, take the fourth exit from the roundabout at the end of the sliproad (travelling under the M25) and then the third exit at the next roundabout.  The Waltham Abbey Marriott is directly in front of you.

Directions from London Stansted Airport: Southbound M11 to M25, then westbound on M25 to Junction 26. 

Directions from London Heathrow Airport: M4 westbound to M25, then northbound M25 to junction 26

Directions from London City Airport: Drive North from city Airport on M11, Take M25 Junction towards M1,A1,Watford (Not Dartford Tunnel) Leave M25 at Junction 26, at first roundabout turn right and go under the M25. The Waltham Abbey Marriott is directly in front of you.

 

Public Transport Directions

The nearest rail station is Chingford with connection to London. The nearest tube station is Epping on the Central Line. Taxi Services are available from both stations for your ownward journey to the hotel.
