Get To Know Animals is a fully interactive indoor mini zoo and animal experience centre in Epping Forest. Run by passionate experts with an emphasis on conservation and education, some of the animals are very rare. All are resuced and rehomed and come with their own stories that the staff will be pleased to tell you about. Something for everyone, young and old alike. An amazing experience in such a small space. Be prepared to stay longer than you might think.

As well as the zoo, GTKA offer hosted birthday parties, educational visits, as well as providing animal therapy to care homes, hospices and hospitals.

Animal Handling

A range of animal handling experiences are offered where visitors can get to touch, hold and get up close to the animals. All animal handling experiences can be booked on the day of the visit at reception or through a ranger, and will be dependent on the mood / health of each individual animal. Animal handling experiences will be for a maximum of 20 minutes, or when the animal itself calls time!
