Its reopened and better than ever - 

Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park in Waltham Abbey is a great day out with the kids. From indoor and outdoor play areas to animal activities and more you’ll find it hard to fit it all into one day!

This is an amazing family attraction aimed towards children up to the age of 12. But all ages are, of course, welcome!

Exotic Animals

Travel from the mountains in the Andes to the snowy paths of Lapland in one trail on your visit. Meet our exotic friends down at Critter Corner, Olive Hill and World of Farming and unearth fascinating facts about where they come from.

Birds of Prey

Learn even more fantastic facts with an amazing air show at the farms that will take your breath away. The dedicated falconry team, Coda Falconry, gives visitors all the ins and outs of what it’s like working with such remarkable animals.

The Farmyard

From trotters to snouts the farmyard is home to many of the usual suspects you might expect to find on a farm. However unlike other farms you’ll get the chance to see them up close and even feed them a treat or two, or maybe even three!

FAQs

How do we book with a carer?

To book with a carer, we would advise booking all paying guests not including the carer as they will gain entry for free on the day of visit. (documentation will be required).

Are there places to purchase food & drink?

Yes! Lee Valley offers a permanent catering outlet, serving hot and cold meals, including a children’s menu.

May I bring a picnic?

Yes! You can bring a picnic, but we do ask not to eat inside the Cafe as these tables are for customers purchasing food.

Is the Farm suitable for prams/buggies/wheelchairs?

There are hard standing footpaths to most areas; however, some of the play areas are, due to their natural composition, inaccessible and not wheel-friendly.

Is there access to disabled facilities?

We have a disabled toilets on the Farm along with a disabled changing area.

We are coming by car, is parking free on site?

Our parking is free to our visitors.

How long can we stay?

Once on the Farm you can stay as long as you like up to our closing time of 5pm.

We have booked, what is included in our tickets?

A fun-packed program, along with seeing the animals and play areas.

Do we need to print our tickets?

No need to print, you can use your Smartphone for your digital ticket; please ensure your phone is fully charged for the ticket and barcode to be legible.

Do you have first aiders and first aid facilities on site?

We hope your visit is accident free, however, we do need to be prepared so we have a policy that all senior team and full-time team members are first aid trained. We also have an unmanned first aid room on our farm.

What clothing/footwear is suitable to wear?

We do advise dressing for the weather, and would recommend wellies if rained a few days before visiting.

Do you have baby changing facilities?

We have facilities at the front and on the Farm in both disabled and ladies.

Can I bring our dog?

No dogs or pets of any kind are allowed on site or to be left in cars in the car park at any time. With the exception of service/guide dogs.
