About
The King's Head is one of the most ancient pubs in the county of Essex, with parts of the structure dating back nearly 450 years. The main building is a beautiful half wood construction which dates back to the 17th century, and was originally built using old ships' timbers.
A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
At the back of the pub is a large grass area great for families with children. Alongside is a large parking area.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
There’s always a great reason to visit The King's Head in North Weald. Throughout the week we run Fixed Price Lunch and Dinner menus, and at the weekend you can enjoy special prices on sparkling wine on Fizz Friday or a delicious 3-course Steak Supper on Saturday.
