Lee Valley Wildlife Discovery Centre
The centrte consists of a hide, a discovery room and a lookout tower.
The closest car park is Fishers Green at Stubbins Hall Lane, Waltham Abbey, Essex EN9 2EF 200m away.
The hide is open throughout the year. Open Monday to Sunday at 8.30am. Check here for closing time which changes throughout the year.
The discovery room and tower are open Monday - Sunday - 10am - 4pm (subject to staffing)

Overlooking Seventy Acres Lake, this centre offers 360-degree views from a five-metre viewing tower, overlooking wetland and grassland habitat, plus information and guides to wildlife you can expect to see. learn about the habitats and species around you as well as birds that visit the park. Listen to the sounds of wildlife that you can find in the park and learn about some of the history of the valley.
The tower allows amazing views over Seventy Acres Lake and the living roof has flora and fauna in the summer when the plants flower and attract a host of wildlife. The whole building has been designed for wildlife including the insect bricks in the gabion wall and the bird and bat boxes on the building.
A lift to all floors and disabled parking (in Fishers Green Car Park) are provided at this centre.
