Using a Map and Compass: Navigation Skills
Epping Forest Field Centre
Saturday, 16th May from 9:30 - 16:00
Learn how to use a map and compass! We will learn the basics of using a map and compass before going out and navigating our way through Epping Forest. This will not provide you with all the skills to walk in the wilds of Scotland but will allow you to feel more confident to walk in lowland areas.
FSC would like everyone to enjoy looking at, being inspired by and enjoy nature around them. To take part in this course, you do not need to have any previous experience, or any expensive kit, just enthusiasm, an interest in the subject and a desire to learn. The days will be a mix of indoor and outdoor sessions, led by subject experts.
Places must be booked in advance. Details correct, at the time of publishing. Check the FSC website for up to date information.
