Proud to be part of Epping Forest District Festival of Culture
Swaines Green are currently planning a Spring Walk on Sunday 11th April, starting at 10am, subject to Coronavirus regulations then in force. If oversubscribed there will be a second walk at 2pm.
The walk will explore the history and nature of Swaines Green – learn how the site came about, and find out some of the natural history of its delightful area.
The walk will be between one and two hours in length, and the meeting point will be by the playground on Lower Swaines Recreation Ground. Places are limited, and everyone will need to follow the Covid-19 regulations then in force, so book early! It is requested that children are accompanied by an adult.
It is also advised to come warmly clad, and bear in mind that if the weather has been wet, the walk will be on muddy paths, so wear appropriate footwear. Paths are uneven and not suitable for those who are not steady on their feet.
Please note that this event is subject to Coronavirus regulations then in force. If you have registered and the event is cancelled you will be notified. If the event is still proceeding ahead, latest Coronavirus recommendations will be followed, and you are requested to bring a facemask.
