Suntrap Family Forest Survival

Friday 3rd August (also Tuesday 7th August)

Bring your family to a variety of fun, outdoor activities in Epping Forest led by Suntrap staff during the summer holidays. Go on a Mystical or Jurassic Forest adventure or learn some survival skills.

Two and a half hours of forest based activities led by Suntrap staff during the summer holidays from 10am until 12.30pm (you can stay in our grounds until 2pm for picnics).

This is aimed at families; all children must be accompanied by an adult. £12 per child or book 5 sessions per child for £50 (3yrs+).

Booking is essential by email (suntrap.centre@walthamforest.gov.uk).

Suntrap staff will take you deep into the woodland where you can build a shelter which Ray Mears would be proud of! You will the collect the wood you need to make a fire back at Suntrap. You will be shown how to light your fire without a match and can toast some marshmallows.

Free and disabled parking on site.

This event is disability accessible - ask about borrowing our all-terrain wheelchair (depending on conditions in the forest). Please mention any disabilities when booking.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed on site.
