Stand-up comedy returns to Town Mead Sports and Social Club
Stand-up comedy nights are returning to the Town Mead Sports and Social Club, Waltham Abbey, after a two-year break.
Waltham Abbey Town Council is once again promoting a Mead Comedy Club season in the Mead Suite starting Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22, with two nights of Edinburgh Fringe Preview Shows.
Friday (July 21) sees Andrew Ryan preview his show ‘Did You Get Here Alright’ along with Pippa Evans and her show entitled ‘Joy Provision’.
Saturday (July 22) sees Mitch Benn’s ‘I’m Still Here’ and Danny Buckler‘s comedy magic show.
All four are seasoned Fringe performers and sure to give a great start to the season.
Resident compere is Paul Wade, promoter of the Harlow Comedy Club.
Tickets are £10 on the door (£8.50 in advance).
A two-night ticket is also available - priced £15 in advance.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
There is no show in August and the season resumes on Friday, September 15, with John Mann and Sean Meo plus support acts and continues on the third Friday of each month.
