Mayhem in the Mad Lab

16th Feb - 24th Feb

The Royal Gunpowder Mills kicks off its 2019 season with Mayhem in the Mad Lab! Join us DAILY between February 16th to February 24th for super cool science and fun activities.

In the Mad Lab visit our "Science Stations" where you can try our hands-on experiments testing scientific theories, plus, make your very own personalized slime and learn how to make your own modelling dough! - Lots of messy mayhem in a full day of fun, including “The Rocket Room” where you can create and launch your very own air powered rocket before popping it in your pocket and taking it home.

Professor Nitrate creates mayhem with interactive science shows at 11.40, 1.40 and 3.40 where all the family can learn about things that go whizz, bang and crash!

The history of our 300 year old site comes to life with our Exhibition, Rocket Vault & Armoury plus other displays including a wildlife tower and the Brambly Hedge exhibition.

Doors open 10am, Last Entry 3pm. Follow us on social media @gunpowdermills
