The road to Paris 2024 starts in April at the Lee Valley White Water Centre, as an action-packed 2023 canoe slalom season gets underway this Easter weekend with the selection event for the British team.
2023 is a big international year for the nation’s top slalom paddlers, as it’s the first chance Britain can book their boat spots in next year’s Olympic Games.
This opportunity will come at the conclusion of the international season at the 2023 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, being held at the London 2012 Olympic venue, as around 300 of the world's best athletes from across 50 countries battle it out across a week of high octane competition.
But first, athlete’s need to secure their own place on the senior team for the upcoming year to be in with a chance of securing a place for their nation and themselves in Paris next year.
Watch it all unfold at the Lee Valley White Water Centre 8-10 April with both canoe slalom and kayak cross spots up for grabs.
