One Day Workshop

Learn how to create a traditional fruit picker basket from willow.

Discover a great new environmentally friendly hobby that could enable you to create presents for your family and friends!

 

 

No experience necessary.

All materials and most tools can be supplied by the tutor, but if you have any of the following please bring them: - Folding pocket-knife with a locking blade (e.g. an Opinel knife) or a craft knife with fixed blade. - Philips (or cross-head) screwdriver, approx. pencil thickness and 4”/5” long (or bodkin if you’ve got one); - Ruler (30cm)

Please bring a packed lunch. 

Facilities for making hot drinks are also available.

4 Westbury Road, Buckhurst Hill IG9 5NW runs between Russel Road and Palmerstone Road off the A121 High Road.

The buildings are not wheelchair accessible.

Public Transport Directions

The nearest tube station is Buckhurst Hill on the Central Line. Upon leaving the station, walk along Palmerstone Road in the direction of the High Road and turn right into Westbury Road where Bedford House Community Association is on the left.
