Loughton Town Council looks forward to your company, to pay tribute to those who survived this campaign along with the many that lost their lives. As part of these commemorations the National Federation of Fish Friers are proud to be involved. For over 160 years fish and chips has been a firm favourite of the British public providing nourishment for the nation. This was never more important than during the war years when the ingredients were left unrationed to help feed those involved in the war effort and keep the country and their factories working.
Stroll across to the top of Hillyfields Open Space, IG10 2PY from 8.30pm where a Fish and Chip van will also be attending, selling portions of fish and chips.
